Fostering creativity

The CAA promotes the fine arts, performing arts,  the humanities and  local artists by showcasing their works.   In spring and early summer, they host the annual Arts Quest , a Tour of Homes, and the Flutterby Festival.  At Arts Quest, artwork on display includes oils, metal, sculpture, fiber, clay, jewelry, acrylics, glass, photography and digital art. The Fine Arts Festival also features music, food and children's activities.  Colorful butterfly wings combine with the joyful laughter of children at the annual Flutterby Festival honoring the autumn migration of the monarch butterfly through Walton County.  The two-day festival offers fun and art for the whole family.
